holidays, a trip to visit family,
lots of playing...
Lots of paddling...and changing out of wet clothes. I cannot quite get back into termtime mode now that holidays are over. I have done no sewing unless you count sewing badges onto a cub scout jumper, oh and I sewed an apron. It was so utilitarian I almost forgot I had made it.
I have done no blogging as possession of my laptop seems to have transferred to my children.
I can't manage to sign into my blog on my tablet. Though I have lost possession of that too. Pesky children.....while they hog the technology I wander the house, prodding my seedlings, folding endless laundry, looking at my almost finished trousers, but not really getting anywhere. I have developed a new addiction to reading hippyish blogs about eating foraged food, wearing second hand clothes and creativity...I am not sure why but they just interest me at the moment.
I am thinking and probably over thinking Me Made May. So much thinking that I have done nothing about it. Procrastination is a great thing... I am of to daydream some more over the kitchen sink.
Looks like a wonderful holiday season! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, we just had a couple of lovely weeks weathered x
DeleteLooks like lots of fun! I'm sure I'm overthinking memademay too & should really just get myself signed up. I hope you get your tablet back soon, though prodding seedlings & daydreaming sound nice & relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI need to sign up too. And replant the seedlings :)
DeleteI love procrastination... I could do it for hours...
ReplyDeleteSeaside looked fun, is it near to you ? But then if the sun is shining you may as well go with the moment... other bits of life can just wait... there is a lovely poem by Louis McNeice about a boy in summer going down a hill on a bike...
I have swapped to a tablet after my son managed to break my laptop... cannot update blog with it though... feeling somewhat technologically challenged... and I can't sew as we are revamping the bathrooms...but... the flowers are out...
Sadly the seaside isn't near me. That was at Exmouth in Devon, three hours driving away. I set my blog margins too wide for my tablet, so can sign in but layout is awkward. Really need a blog spring clean.
DeleteYou made me laugh about reading the hippyish blogs! I go through fads too. Right now I'm into people who live in RVs! :) And I think I'm going to do MMM but it might be with only 5 outfits all month, we'll see, ha!
ReplyDeletePeople living in R.Vs?? You're going to have to send me some links! X
DeleteIt looks like you had a lovely time at Easter. I know what you mean about procrastination, I have been doing a lot of that this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I too am very good at procrastination - I 'sorted out' my stash last night - I now have more plans than I can hold in my head, have actively avoided my sewing space this morning and spent time trimming a hedge instead. To be fair the hedge trim is long over due. I am enjoying being in the garden again after pretty much ignoring it of a year in favour of a now defunct allotment. I am hoping that Me-Made-May will spur me into blogging some of the clothes I have made in the last few months!
