Following the visit to Bilston Craft gallery I got a bit carried away. I made these paper pulp bowls with the children on friday. They took two days to dry out. I am thinking of making some more to be Christmas packaging.
Wow! They're so pretty! Did you use two bowls to get the shape and sandwich the pulp between them? Or did you use a balloon? I think I may need to have a go at these.
Thanks Mimi, we just used one plastic bowl for each one and greased it with vaseline, and put the pulp inside the plastic bowl. This meant the inside of the paper bowls is bumpy and the outside is smooth. I can post some in-process pics tommorrow if you like.
